RULES
P1. The competition is open to:
All piano students no older than age 14 on February 20th, 2022
All participants will be divided into four groups.
Beginner: Up to 3 minutes (8 years old and under only)
Intermediate: Up to 5 minutes
Advanced: Up to 8 minutes
Freestyle: Up to 5 minutes (Non-competitive)
Participants who won First Prize in the Beginner and Intermediate categories in 2021 must enter the next-highest level in 2022.
2. All rounds are free and open for the public to listen.
3. All applications are Online.
*Non-refundable application fee of $38 (competition) or $30 (Freestyle) to be paid by PayPal. No application will be considered valid until the application fee is received.
5. Repertoire: Each contestant will perform a program that is no longer than their specified category's time limit. Once the time limit is reached, the judges or evaluator will stop the performer.
6. Participants may change their program by informing PianoFun MN by e-mail (pianofunmn@gmail.com) before February 20th, 2022.
7. All communication, including scheduling for the performances , will be conducted by e-mail.
8. Competitors arriving late for any portion of the competition will be disqualified from the competition.
9. The jurists and evaluator will be professional teachers and performers.
10. The jury’s decisions are final.
11. The official results will be posted on this website.
